Research interests/biography

Using infrasound (low frequency sound waves) to understand volcanic eruptions and volcanic processes. Fee is a member of the òòò½´«Ã½ Volcano Observatory, which helps monitor and research òòò½´«Ã½â€™s volcanoes. Fee is also a member of the Wilson òòò½´«Ã½ Technical Center, which operates and maintains infrasound arrays of the International Monitoring System of the Comprehensive Nuclear Test Ban Treaty Organization and studies infrasonic signals from the aurora, large explosions, and many other sources.
