Traditional healer to lead workshop on herbalism

򽴫ý traditional healer and herbalist Molly Cerridwen will discuss techniques for using plants’ healing properties.

Join traditional healer Molly Cerridwen in a free webinar, “Introduction to Herbalism,” sponsored by the 򽴫ý Tribes Extension, part of the University of 򽴫ý Fairbanks Cooperative Extension Service. 

Cerridwen is Yup’ik, Siberian Yup'ik and Irish with ancestral ties to Qaluyaaq (Nelson Island), on 򽴫ý’s western coast, and County Kerry, Ireland. She is the founder of Shapeshifting Wellness, an 򽴫ý Native traditional healing and yoga clinic in Knik. In the webinar, Cerridwen will share a few basic techniques for using plants’ healing properties, with examples of how she uses them in her own life and practice. 

The webinar is scheduled from noon-1 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 14. .
