The Department of Music resides within the UAF Fine Arts Complex hosting modern performance, recording, and broadcast capabilities. These facilities include:
- Teaching studios
- Classrooms
- The Eva McGown Music Room (Room 217)

- Student computer labs
- 900-seat Charles W. Davis Concert Hall
- 456-seat Lee Salisbury Theater
- KUAC public radio and television studios

Scholarships & Funding

There are many scholarship opportunities for music students at UAF. In order to be considered for a Department of Music scholarship, the applicant must be enrolled as a full-time music major or have applied for admission to the University of òòò½´«Ã½ Fairbanks, with music as the declared major.

The office of Undergraduate Research & Scholarly Activity (URSA) is UAF's resource for the development and promotion of experiential learning activities that engage undergraduate students to support UAF's goal to become a leading student-focused research university.
Undergraduate research and creative activity at UAF covers all disciplines, from climate
sciences to music, engineering, anthropology, life sciences, art and theater.
